We all agree that Rural Iowa faces unique challenges in recruiting health care providers. This workshop is an opportunity to:
- Learn how communities have successfully addressed the challenge.
- Hear how the training programs withing Iowa are encourgaging students to consider rural practice.
- Learn about resources available to your community.
- Explore how your community can also be successful in addressing this critical need.
IRHA is excited to offer the workshops free of charge to anyone who is interested in participating.
The workshops are intended to bring together a variety of stakeholders from the local communities as this challenge is most successfully addressed when the entire community gets involved. Hospital Administrators and Board Members, Mayors and City Council Members, City Managers and Economic Development Professionals, County Of cials, Rural Providers and Concerned Community Members are all encouraged to attend. Come as a team, if you are able, and start the conversation for your community.
There is no fee to participate, but registration is required. You can register online by clicking here.
